REMOVAL

BULB - FRONT

NOTE: The front reading lamps are integral to the overhead console in the headliner near the windshield.




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a small thin-bladed screwdriver, gently pry the notched (forward) end (2) of the reading lamp lens away from the overhead console far enough to unsnap the lens from the two pivot pins in the lamp housing.
3. Pull the notched end of the lens downward and slide it forward far enough to disengage the switch tab (1) on the rearward edge of the lens from between the overhead console and the switch plunger.
4. Remove the lens from the housing.



5. Using a small thin-bladed screwdriver, gently pry each side of the shield (1) away from the lamp reflector (2) and bulb (3) far enough to remove the shield from the lamp housing.



6. Carefully unsnap the bulb (2) from the two bulb holders (1) within the lamp housing.
7. Remove the bulb from the lamp.

BULB - REAR

NOTE: The rear reading lamps are integral to the grab handle in the headliner on the inner roof side rail over each outboard rear seating position.




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a small thin-bladed screwdriver, gently pry the upper corner at the forward end (2) of the reading lamp lens (1) away from the grab handle far enough to unsnap it from the lamp housing.
3. Pull the front end of the lens outward far enough to disengage the larger rear lens tab from the lamp housing.



4. Pull the base of the bulb (1) straight out of the bulb holder within the lamp housing.
