WINDOW REGULATOR - POWER
REMOVAL
1. Place the glass (1) in the position shown to gain access to the glass connections (2) from behind the waterdam.
2. Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable.
3. Remove the waterdam, (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - FRONT/WATERDAM - REMOVAL).
4. Depress the lock tabs (2) and release the glass (3) from the regulator (1) lift plate.
5. Secure the glass in the up position using a wood wedge, tape or equivalent.
6. Loosen the bolts (1, 2 and 4).
7. Disconnect the runout tube clip (3).
8. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the regulator (5).
INSTALLATION
1. Install the regulator assembly (5).
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Connect the runout tube clip (3).
4. Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 in. lbs.) using the sequence shown.
5. Slide glass (3) down into the door and connect the mounting hole (2) to the regulator lift plates (1).
6. Install the waterdam, (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - FRONT/WATERDAM - INSTALLATION).
