WINDOW REGULATOR - POWER
REMOVAL
1. Position the glass (1) as shown.
2. Remove the waterdam, (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOORS - REAR/WATERDAM - REMOVAL).
3. Depress the lock tabs (2) and release the glass (3) from the regulator (1) lift plate.
4. Secure the glass in the up position using a wood wedge, tape or equivalent.
5. Remove the bolts. (2, 3 and 5)
6. Disconnect the runout tube clip (4) and remove the regulator.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector.
INSTALLATION
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Loosely install the bolts onto the regulator assembly. (2, 3 and 5)
3. Install the regulator assembly (1).
4. Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 in. lbs.) using the sequence shown.
5. Remove the glass support and slide glass (3) down into the door and connect the mounting hole (1) to the regulator lift plates (2).
6. Install the waterdam, (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOORS - REAR/WATERDAM - INSTALLATION).
