| Fuel Selection (Gasoline Engines Only) |
87 Octane (89 Octane should be used for trailer towing purposes - 3.7L Only). DO NOT use gasolines containing Methanol or E85 Ethanol. Use of these blends may result in starting and driveability problems and may damage critical fuel system components. Problems that result from using methanol/gasoline or E85 Ethanol blends are not the responsibility of the manufacturer. While MTBE is an oxygenate made from Methanol, it does not have the negative effects of Methanol. |
| Fuel Selection (Diesel Engines Only) |
Use good quality diesel fuel from a reputable supplier. For most year-round service, No. 2 diesel fuel meeting ASTM specification D-975 will provide good performance. This vehicle is fully compatible with biodiesel blends up to 5% biodiesel meeting ASTM specification D-975. |

For best performance and maximum protection under all types of operating conditions, the manufacture only recommends engine oils that are API certified and meet the
requirements of DaimlerChrysler Material Standard MS-6395. Use Mopar or an equivalent oil meeting the specification MS-6395. These Certified Oils exhibit the American Petroleum Institute (API) Engine Oil
Certification Symbol on the front of the oil container. This symbol means that the oil has been tested, certified, and licensed by the American Petroleum Institute (API) to meet the oil standards required
by the manufacturers. The manufacturer only recommends API Certified engine oils that meet the requirements of DaimlerChrysler Material Standard MS-6395. |

For countries that use the ACEA European Oil Categories for Service Fill Oils, use engine oils that meet the requirements of ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4 or A5/B5. |
