Diagnostic Test
1. JUNCTION BLOCKGain access to the junction block C24 Harness connector.
While back probing, measure the voltage of the Courtesy Lamp Driver circuit.
Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?
Yes
- Go To2
No
- Replace the Junction Block.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
2. COURTESY LAMP DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
Using a jumper wire, test the Courtesy Lamps Driver circuit to the Junction Block C24 connector and ground.
Do the courtesy lamps come on?
Yes
- Replace the Body Control Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No
- Repair the Courtesy Lamp Driver circuit for an open condition.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
