INSTALLATION
3.7L
1. Install the pump to the vehicle.
2. Install the three bolts (1) securing the pump to the engine. Tighten the bolts to 47 N·m (35 ft.lbs.).
3. Install the power steering hoses.
4. Install the serpentine belt (Refer to 7 - COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - INSTALLATION).
5. Refill the power steering fluid and check for leaks (Refer to 19 - STEERING - STANDARD PROCEDURE).
2.8L-DIESEL
1. Install the pump to the vehicle.
2. Install the three bolts (3) securing the pump (2) to the bracket. .
3. Install the power steering hoses (1).
4. Install the three bolts (5) securing the pulley (4) to the pump (2). .
5. Install the serpentine belt.
6. Install the fan shroud
7. Install the engine cooling fan.
8. Refill the power steering fluid and bleed the system (Refer to 19 - STEERING - STANDARD PROCEDURE).
