RADIO
DESCRIPTION
Available factory-installed radio receivers for this model include:
- AM/FM (1-CD/MP3), with & without integral satellite & input jacks (RES)
- AM/FM (6-DVD/MP3), with & without integral satellite & input jacks (REQ)
- AM/FM (1-CD/DVD/MP3), full map navigation (6.5” integrated touch screen display), 1-disc data drive, integral satellite & input jacks (RER)
All factory-installed radio receivers can communicate on the Controller Area Network (CAN). All factory-installed receivers are stereo Electronically Tuned Radios (ETR).
These radio receivers can only be serviced by an authorized radio repair station. See the latest Warranty Policies and Procedures manual for a current listing of authorized radio repair stations.
REMOVAL
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with airbags, (refer to electrical/restraints) before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. Failure to take the proper precautions could result in accidental airbag deployment and possible personal injury.
NOTE: For REQ and RET radios, turn ignition to RUN and press the SET + SCAN buttons simultaneously to place the radio into transportation mode. The radio will display "Transportation" on the display within 5 seconds. If the radio is inoperative or not REQ/RET, skip this step.
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the center bezel.
3. Remove the radio mounting fasteners.
4. Pull out the radio and disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the radio.
INSTALLATION

1. Connect the electrical connectors and install the radio.
2. Install the radio mounting fasteners.
3. Install the center bezel.
4. Connect the battery negative cable.
