SENSOR - FRONT WHEEL SPEED

REMOVAL




1. Raise vehicle and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the disc brake caliper (1) and adapter (2).
3. Remove the disc brake rotor (3).



4. Clean sensor (1) and surrounding area with shop towel before removal.
5. Remove bolt (2) attaching sensor (1) to hub/bearing.



6. Remove the sensor (1) through the hole in the brake shield (2).



7. Remove sensor wire (2) from brake hose (1).
8. Disconnect sensor wire connector at harness plug.

INSTALLATION




1. Install the sensor (1) through the hole in the brake shield (2).



2. Install the sensor (1) in the hub & bearing and tighten sensor attaching bolt (2) to 4-6 N·m (34-50 in. lbs.).



3. Install the disc brake rotor (3).
4. Install the disc brake caliper (1) and adaptor (2).



5. Route the sensor wire (2) and secure to the brake hose (1).
6. Connect sensor wire to harness.
7. Install the tire & wheel assembly.
8. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
