HANDLE - EXTERIOR DOOR
REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel (2), (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - HALF FRONT/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL).
2. Remove the latch nut (2).
NOTE: Full front door shown, half door is similar.
3. Remove the remaining handle nut (2) and remove the handle (1).
INSTALLATION
1. Install the handle (1) and install the front nut (2).
2. Tighten the nut to 4.5 N·m (40 in. lbs.).
3. Install the rear nut (2).
4. Tighten the nut to 4.5 N·m (40 in. lbs.).
5. Install the trim panel (2), (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - HALF FRONT/TRIM PANEL - INSTALLATION).
