P252F-ENGINE OIL LEVEL TOO HIGH

For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W

When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
Set Condition:
The engine oil change counter indicates that the engine is overdue for an oil change. The DPF regeneration is disabled to prevent further oil delusion.

Possible Causes

ENGINE OIL CHANGE COUNTER LEVEL TOO HIGH

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)

Diagnostic Test

1. DTC IS ACTIVE

Turn the ignition off.
Refer to the Service Information and change the engine oil.
With the scan tool, reset the engine oil change counter.

View repair.

Test Complete

Perform the ECM Verification Test Ver. 1. (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
