SENSOR - INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE
REMOVAL
The intake manifold air temperature (IAT) sensor (2) is installed into the rubber air intake tube (1) near the throttle body.
1. Disconnect electrical connector from IAT sensor.
2. Clean dirt from IAT sensor base.
3. Pull up on IAT sensor while rotating for removal.
4. Check condition of sensor O-ring.
INSTALLATION
The intake manifold air temperature (IAT) sensor (2) is installed into the rubber air intake tube (1) near the throttle body.
1. Clean mounting hole.
2. Check condition of sensor O-ring.
3. Push IAT sensor into rubber intake tube while rotating for installation.
4. Connect electrical connector to IAT sensor.
