U0415-IMPLAUSIBLE DATA RECEIVED FROM ABS

When Monitored:
Continuously while the system is active.
Set Condition:
An error message has been received over the bus from the Anti-lock Brake Module.

Possible Causes
CAN BUS OPEN OR SHORTED CONDITION
ANTI-LOCK BRAKE MODULE (ABS)
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)

1. ACTIVE DTC

NOTE: Diagnose all CAN B and C communication DTCs before continuing.

1.	Ignition on, engine not running.

2.	With a scan tool, view DTCs.

Is the status Active for this DTC?

Yes

2. ABS COMMUNICATION RELATED DTCs IN OTHER MODULES

1.	With the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.

Is there more than one module with active DTCs “Logged Against” the ABS at this time?

Yes

Replace and program the Anti-Lock Brake Control Module (ABS) in accordance with the service information.
Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Antilock Brake (ABS) - Standard Procedure).

Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information.
Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure).
