AIR CLEANER

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the engine cover (1).

  2. Release the four air cleaner housing cover latches (1).

    3.  
  3. Lift the cover (1) and remove the air cleaner element (2).

    CAUTION:

    Do not use compressed air to clean out the air cleaner housing without first covering the air inlet to the throttle body. Dirt or foreign objects could enter the intake manifold causing engine damage.

  4. Remove any dirt or debris from the bottom of the air cleaner housing.

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the air cleaner element (2) into the air cleaner housing.

  2. Seat the cover onto the housing and secure the four housing cover latches (1).

  3. Install the engine cover (1).
