CABLE, Inside Handle to Latch

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the carrier plate. (Refer to 23 - Body/Door - Front/PLATE, Carrier - Removal) .

  2. Release the cable clip at the inside handle (4) and disconnect the cable (1).

  3. Release the clips (3) and disconnect the cable from the latch assembly.

  4. Remove the cable from the carrier plate.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the cable onto the carrier plate and connect to the latch.

  2. Secure the cable clip (3) fully.

  3. Connect the cable (1) to the interior handle (3) and secure the cable clip (4).

  4. Install the carrier plate. (Refer to 23 - Body/Door - Front/PLATE, Carrier - Installation) .
