GLASS, Door

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the carrier plate (6), (Refer to 23 - Body/Doors - Rear/PLATE, Carrier - Removal)

  2. Remove the nut (2) and position the run channel (1) aside.

  3. Lower the glass into the bottom of the door.

    4.  
  4. Remove the outer belt molding.

    5.  
  5. Remove the stationary glass division bar bolt and separate the stationary glass and weatherstrip assembly from the door.

  6. Remove the door glass from the door window opening.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the door glass into the door through the window opening and position into the bottom of the door.

  2. Install the stationary glass and weatherstrip and seat fully.

    3.  
  3. Install the division bar bolt and tighten to 12 N·m (9 ft. lbs.).

  4. Install the outer belt molding.

    5.  
  5. Position the glass into the full up position and secure in place using tape or other suitable device.

    6.  
  6. Install the glass run channel (1) and install the nut (2).

    7.  
  7. Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (90 in. lbs.).

  8. Install the carrier plate (6), (Refer to 23 - Body/Doors - Rear/PLATE, Carrier - Installation) .
