INSULATOR, Engine Mount, Right

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

  1. Raise and support the vehicle (Refer to 04 - Vehicle Quick Reference/Hoisting - Standard Procedure) .

  2. Remove the right front wheelhouse inner splash shield (Refer to 23 - Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash - Removal) .

  3. Disengage one main wire harness retainer (4) from the right engine mount insulator.

    4.  
  4. Loosen the right engine mount nut (3).

    5.  
  5. Using a suitable jack stand and a block of wood positioned under the oil pan, raise the engine until the weight is off of the isolator.

  6. Remove the right engine mount nut (3) and bolt (2).

  7. Remove one studbolt (2), three bolts (3) and the right engine mount isolator (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

Install the right engine mount isolator (1) to the engine block with one studbolt (2) and three bolts (3) tightened to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.).

  1. Install the engine mount bolt (2) and nut (3). Lower the engine until the weight is on the isolator and tighten the nut (3) to 61 N·m (45 ft.lbs.).

  2. Engage one main wire harness retainer (4) to the right engine mounting bracket.

  3. Install the right front wheelhouse inner splash shield (Refer to 23 - Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash - Installation) .
