MIRROR, Outside Rearview

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the door trim panel. (Refer to 23 - Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Removal)

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).

  3. Tie a piece of string or similar to the end of the wire harness (2) to use during installation of the mirror.

    4.  
  4. Remove the bolts (3) and separate the mirror (1) from the door.

    5.  
  5. Carefully pull the wire harness and string through the door and separate the string once the wire harness has cleared the outer door panel.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

  1. Tie the string used during removal to the wire harness (2).

  2. Using the string, guide the wire harness through the door panels.

    3.  
  3. Install the mirror (1) onto the door and install the bolts (3).

    4.  
  4. Tighten the bolts to 13 N·m (9.5 ft. lbs.).

  5. Connect the electrical connector (2).

  6. Install the door trim panel. (Refer to 23 - Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Installation)
