CABLE, Tension

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

  1. Release the soft top latches and open the soft top.

    2.  
  2. Remove the foam tape (2) and expose the screws.

    3.  
  3. Remove the screws (2) and release the cable tab (1).

    4.  
  4. Release the rear quarter window.

    5.  
  5. Position the soft top aside and release the cable spring (1).

    6.  
  6. Position the top in the full up position, unlatched and remove the cable.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

  1. With the top in the full up position but unlatched, feed the cable into the pocket from the front to the back using a long thin wire or equivalent.

  2. Open the top and connect the spring (1).

  3. Position the cable bracket (1) and the top cover back and install the screws (2).

  4. Install the foam tape (2).
