HEADER, Folding Top

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

  1. Release and fold back the soft top header assembly (1) to the vehicle.

    NOTE:

    When removing the screws remember their locations because they will differ in size and style.

  2. Carefully remove the screws (1) at each end (side) of the header seal plate (2).

    3.  
  3. Remove the screws (1) under the flange on the left and right sides of the header assembly (2).

    4.  
  4. Remove the two screws (1) on the upper header assembly (2) from both sides.

    5.  
  5. Remove the header assembly and all remaining fasteners (1).

    6.  
  6. Remove the windshield header seal plate from the soft top.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

  1. Feed the soft top material (3) onto the lower header (2) using masking tape (1) to insure proper placement.

  2. Install the header seal plate and install the fasteners (1) from the center outward.

    3.  
  3. Install the two screws (1) on the upper header assembly (2) on both sides.

    4.  
  4. Install the screws (1) under the flange on the left and right sides of the header assembly (2).

    NOTE:

    When installing the screws remember their locations from removal because they differ in size and style.


    5.  
  5. Carefully install the screws (1) at each end (side) of the header seal plate (2).

    6.  
  6. Close and verify proper top operation.
