LINK, Stabilizer Bar

REMOVAL

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Remove the rear tire.

    3.  
  3. Support the rear axle with a jack.

    4.  
  4. Remove the upper link nut at the stabilizer bar.

    5.  
  5. Remove the lower link nut AND bolt (3) at the axle.

    6.  
  6. Remove stabilizer link (4).

INSTALLATION

NOTE:

The stabilizer bar link to axle bracket fastener must be tightened with full vehicle weight.

  1. Install the stabilizer link (4) to the vehicle.

    2.  
  2. Install the upper nut (1) for the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar and tighten to 90 N·m (66 ft. lbs.).

  3. Install the nut AND bolt (3) to the axle and tighten to 102 N·m (75 ft. lbs.).
