POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) DTCS PRESENT
| 1. | With the scan tool, read PCM Brake DTCs. |
Are there any PCM Brake DTCs present?
Yes
- Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Diagnosis and Testing).
No
- Using the schematics as a guide, check the PCM terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits.
- Perform the appropriate VERIFICATION TEST. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure).
