P1946-CRASH EVENT DETECTED - ENGINE SHUTDOWN

When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
Set Condition:
The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) sends a CAN Bus message to the PCM indicating that the Airbags have been deployed.

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure).

DTC EXPLANATION

NOTE: This DTC indicates that the vehicle has been in an accident and the airbag module has deployed the airbags.
