U110A-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH SCM (SAS)

When Monitored:
Ignition run time is greater than one second. Battery voltage between 9 and 16 Volts. Engine run time greater than three seconds.

Set Condition:
The Powetrain Control Module (PCM) doesn't receive a Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) message over the CAN C circuit for seven consecutive seconds. The circuit is continuously monitored. One Trip fault.

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure).

Yes
- (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Diagnosis and Testing) and perform the U0212-Lost Communication with SCM diagnostic procedure.
No
- (Refer to 29 - Non-DTC Diagnostics/Communication - Diagnosis and Testing) and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
