B1288-TRIP/TOGGLE SWITCH PERFORMANCE

When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
Set Condition:
The Cluster detects the Trip/Toggle Switch is active for greater than 20 seconds.

Possible Causes
CLUSTER

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

1.	Turn the ignition on.

2.	With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.

3.	Press the Trip/Toggle switch three times.

4.	With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

Replace the Cluster in accordance with the Service Information.
Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Standard Procedure).
