GLASS, Door

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the carrier plate. (Refer to 23 - Body/Door - Front/PLATE, Carrier - Removal) .

  2. Remove the nut (2) and position the run channel (1) aside.

  3. Separate the clip (2) from the glass (1) and lower the glass in the run channel.

    4.  
  4. Turn the glass so the front of the glass faces down and remove the glass through the glass opening.

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the glass (1) into the door (3), front and first.

    2.  
  2. Rotate the glass into the correct orientation and push up into the weather seal.

  3. Secure the glass in the up position using tape or other suitable method.

    4.  
  4. Install the glass clip (2).

    5.  
  5. Position the glass run channel (1) back into place and install the nut (2).

  6. Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (7 ft. lbs.).

  7. Install the carrier plate. (Refer to 23 - Body/Door - Front/PLATE, Carrier - Installation) .
