LATCH, Door

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the door trim panel (1), (Refer to 23 - Body/Doors - Rear/PANEL, Rear Door Trim - Removal)

  2. Remove the exterior handle nut (2).

  3. Disconnect the latch rods and electrical connector.

    4.  
  4. Remove the latch screws (4) and remove the latch from the door (2).

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the latch screws (4) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 in. lbs.) top screws first.

  2. Connect the electrical connector.

  3. Connect the rods and seat the clips fully.

    4.  
  4. Install the rear exterior handle nut (2) and tighten to 4.5 N·m (40 in. lbs.).

  5. Install the trim panel (1) (Refer to 23 - Body/Doors - Rear/PANEL, Rear Door Trim - Installation) .
