FLEXPLATE

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the transmission .

  2. Remove the bolts (1) and the spacer plate (2).

  3. Remove the flexplate (3).

    4.  

INSTALLATION

  1. Position the flexplate (3) onto the crankshaft.

    2.  
  2. Install the spacer (2) and the bolts (1) hand tight.

    3.  
  3. Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts (1) to 95 N·m (70 ft. lbs.) in a criss-cross pattern.

  4. Install the transmission .
