INSULATOR, Engine Mount, Left

REMOVAL

  1. Raise and support the vehicle (Refer to 04 - Vehicle Quick Reference/Hoisting - Standard Procedure) .

  2. Loosen the right engine mount nut (2).

  3. Using a suitable jack stand and a block of wood positioned under the oil pan, raise the engine until the weight is off of the isolator.

  4. Remove the left engine mount nut (2) and bolt (3).

  5. Remove the five bolts (2) and the left engine mount isolator (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

Install the left engine mount isolator (1) to the engine block with five bolts (2) tightened to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.).

  1. Install the engine mount bolt (2) and nut (3). Lower the engine until the weight is on the isolator and tighten the nut (3) to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.).
