LAMP, Park and Turn Signal

BULB

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

  2. Reach behind the lower outboard corner of the grille panel (1) to access and disconnect the wire harness connector from the bulb socket connector receptacle (3) on the back of the park/turn signal lamp (2).

  3. Firmly grasp the bulb socket on the back of the lamp housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.

  4. Pull the socket and bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.

    5.  
  5. Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.

LAMP

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

    2.  
  2. Reach behind the lower outboard corner of the grille panel (1) to access and release the two integral park/turn signal lamp (2) latch features (3) and push the lamp out through the face of the grille panel.

  3. From the face of the grille panel, pull the lamp out far enough to access and disconnect the wire harness connector from the bulb socket connector receptacle (4) on the back of the lamp.

  4. Remove the lamp from the vehicle.

BULB

CAUTION:

Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.


  1. Align the base of the bulb with the park/turn signal lamp socket (3).

    2.  
  2. Push the bulb straight into the socket until the base is firmly seated.

    3.  
  3. Reach behind the lower outboard corner of the grille panel (1) to access and align the socket and bulb with the keyed opening on the back of the lamp housing (2).

  4. Insert the socket and bulb into the housing until the socket is firmly seated.

    5.  
  5. Rotate the socket clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.

  6. Reconnect the wire harness connector to the bulb socket connector receptacle.

    7.  
  7. Reconnect the battery negative cable.

LAMP

  1. Position the park/turn signal lamp (2) to the seat in the face of the grille panel (1).

    2.  
  2. Reconnect the wire harness connector to the lamp bulb socket connector receptacle (4).

    3.  
  3. Be certain that the two integral latch features (3) on the back of the lamp housing are aligned with the slots in the seat.

  4. Push the lamp into the seat until the two latches are fully engaged in the slots.

    5.  
  5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
