BEARING, Differential Side

REMOVAL

  1. Remove differential case from axle housing.

    2.  
  2. Remove bearings (2) from the differential case with Puller C-293-PA (5), Adapters C-293-47 (1) and Plug C-293-3 (4).

    NOTE:

    Use the same tools for the Tru-Lok differential.

INSTALLATION

  1. Install differential side bearings on Tru-Lok differentials with Installer C-4213 (1) and Handle C-4171 (2).

  2. Install differential side bearings on open or Trac-Lok® differentials with Installer D-156 (1) and Handle C-4171 (2).

  3. Install differential into the housing.
