SWITCH, Axle Lock

REMOVAL

  1. Remove Tru-Lok harness from the coil (1) and indicator switch (2).

  2. Remove Tru-Lok coil connector (1) bolt (2).

    3.  
  3. Remove Tru-Lok coil connector (3) from the axle housing and remove coil harness from the connector using an appropriate tool such as a pocket screwdriver (1) to release the locking tab (2).


    NOTE:

    If the coil connector becomes damaged during removal it must be replaced.

  4. Remove differential.

  5. Remove Tru-Lok indictor switch (1) from differential housing (2).

INSTALLATION

  1. Install indicator switch (1) into differential housing (2).

  2. Install differential.

    3.  
  3. Install Tru-Lok coil connector (1) to the coil harness (2).

    4.  
  4. Install Tru-Lok coil connector (1) bolt (2).

  5. Install Tru-Lok harness to the coil (1) and indicator switch (2).
