Rear Seat Headrest Rotaion Unit Replacement

NOTE:

• Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
  
• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  

1.	Tilt the seat-back half-way forward, and tip the seat cushion up.

2.	Remove these items: Headrest and center headrest Cargo net (for some models) Seat-back top cover Armrest (right seat-back)

3.	Release the clips fastening the seat-back cover as needed, and unzip the cover.

4.	Right seat-back: Remove the center headrest guides from the seat-back.

5.	Recline the seat-back fully, and secure it. Pull out the seat belt (A) and center seat belt (B)(right seat-back) as needed, then pull out the seat-back cover/pad (C) from the frame (D). ABCD

6.	Remove the screw, then remove the unit cover (A). AFastener Locations: Screw, 2

7.	Remove the bolts, then remove the headrest guide rotation unit (A). AFastener Locations: Bolt, 46 x 1.0 mm 9.8 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7.2 lbf·ft)

8.	Disconnect the control cable (A) from the headrest guide rotation unit (B). If necessary, push out the headrest guides (C) to remove them. AB

9.	Install the headrest guide rotation unit in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Make sure the control cable is connected securely. Make sure the headrest doesn't stand still if the seat-back was unlocked.
