Rear Seat-back Latch Replacement

NOTE:

• Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
  
• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  

1.	Tilt the seat-back forward and tip the seat cushion up.

2.	Remove these items: Headrest and center headrest. Cargo net (for some models). Seat-back top cover.

3.	Remove the bolts (A) and nut (B), disconnect the rod (C), then remove the seat-back latch (D) from the seat-back frame. ABCDAAFastener Locations: Bolt, 3A8 x 1.25 mm 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft): Nut, 1B6 x 1.0 mm 9.8 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7.2 lbf·ft)

4.	Install the latch in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Make sure the rod is connected securely. Make sure the seat-back locks securely and unlocks properly. Make sure the headrest doesn't stand still if the seat-back was unlocked.
