DTC    C1451/72    Motor Drive Permission Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

If air bleeding has not been performed, the skid control ECU stores DTC C1451/72 to prevent the entry of air due to the pump motor operation.
DTC C1451/72 is stored when Invalid Mode is selected, the system will not return to normal until air bleeding procedure is performed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL

  1. Check that the brake fluid level is sufficient.

    OK:
    Brake fluid level is sufficient.

    HINT:
    1. If the fluid level drops, check for fluid leaks, and repair as necessary.
    2. If no fluid leaks exist, add and adjust fluid (Click here).

CHECK AND REPAIR BRAKE FLUID LEAKS OR ADD FLUID
OK


2.PERFORM AIR BLEEDING

  1. Bleed the air from the brake systems (Click here).

    HINT:
    If air bleeding has been performed, this DTC will be cleared.
