DTC    P1615    Communication Error from Distance Control ECU to HV ECU

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a communication error occurs between the driving support ECU assembly and power management control ECU.

All of the following conditions are met
(a) Power switch on (IG)
(b) Communication error between driving support ECU assembly and power management control ECU for 0.5 seconds or more
  1. Driving support ECU assembly
  2. Power management control ECU

WIRING DIAGRAM

Refer to DTC C1A40 .

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.READ OUTPUT DTC (DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / DTC.

  1. Read the DTCs.

2.CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P1615)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Turn the power switch off.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

  1. Read the DTCs.

    Result:

    		A
    DTC P1615 is output
    		B

3.REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY

  1. Replace the driving support ECU assembly (Click here).

4.CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P1615)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
