1. Engage the 5 guides.
   

   NOTICE:

   Do not damage the upper instrument panel assembly.

2. Engage the 12 claws.
   
   

   
   
   
   

3. Install the upper instrument panel assembly with the 2 bolts <A> and 2 screws <B>.
   

   Torque:

   Bolt <A>:

   20 N*m{ 204 kgf*cm , 15 ft.*lbf }

4. Engage the clamp.
   

5. Connect each connector.
   

1. Check that the power switch is off.
   

2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
   

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. Connect the connector.
   

   NOTICE:

   When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

1. Engage the 16 claws to install the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.
   

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Engage the 3 guides and 8 claws to install the center instrument panel register assembly.
   

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Install the front No. 4 speaker assembly with the 2 bolts.
   

   NOTICE:

   Do not touch the speaker cone.

   HINT:

   Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

1. Engage the 4 clips to install the No. 1 speaker opening cover assembly.
   

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Install the front No. 2 speaker assembly with the 2 bolts.
   

   NOTICE:

   Do not touch the speaker cone.

   HINT:

   Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

1. Engage the 2 guides and 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.
   

1. Engage the 5 claws to install the No. 1 defroster nozzle opening plate.
   

1. Engage the 3 guides and 4 claws to install the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.
   

1. Remove the protective cover.
   

2. Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is not damaged.

   NOTICE:

   1. If there is any damage, replace the garnish clip with a new one.
      
   2. When a garnish clip is being replaced, make sure to install it in the direction shown in the illustration.
      

3. Engage the 2 guides by moving the garnish in the direction indicated by the arrow (1).
   

4. Turn the end of the front pillar garnish clip 90° with needle-nosed pliers and install it to the front pillar garnish LH.
   

   HINT:

   Tape the tips of the needle-nosed pliers before use.

5. Engage the 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish LH.
   

1. Connect each connector.
   

2. Engage the 8 claws and clip to install the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.
   

1. Engage the 4 guides, clip and 3 claws to install the instrument side panel LH.
   

1. Align the alignment mark (orange) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

   NOTICE:

   After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

1. Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 2 defroster nozzle opening plate.
   

1. Engage the 3 guides and 7 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.
   

1. Engage the 5 clips to install the No. 3 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.
   

1. Engage the 4 clips to install the No. 3 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.
   

HINT:

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Engage the clamp.
   

3. Engage the 5 claws.
   

4. Install the glove compartment door assembly with the 4 screws <C>.
   

1. Check that the power switch is off.
   

2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
   

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. Connect the airbag connector to the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly.
   

   NOTICE:

   When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

4. Push in the lock to install the airbag connector.
   

5. Temporarily install the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly with the 6 claws and 2 guides.
   

6. Install the 3 bolts.
   

   Torque:

   10 N*m{ 102 kgf*cm , 7 ft.*lbf }

   NOTICE:

   Confirm that the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly is installed securely without any excessive gaps and is not protruding outward.

Use the same procedure described for the LH side .

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Engage the clamp.
   

3. Engage the guide, claw and 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.
   

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Engage the clamp.
   

3. Engage the 2 guides, claw and 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.
   

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Engage the 4 guides, clip and 3 claws to install the instrument side panel RH.
   

1. Align the alignment mark (light blue) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

   NOTICE:

   After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Engage the 2 clips.
   

3. Install the combination meter assembly with the 2 screws.
   

4. Engage the clamp.
   

1. Connect the connector.
   

2. Engage the 11 claws.
   

3. Engage the 2 guides and 4 clips to install the meter hood sub-assembly.
   

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

1. Engage the 4 claws and 2 guides to install the rear floor board upper No. 3 plate.
   

1. Engage the 6 guides.
   

2. Install the deck floor box RH with the clip.
   

1. Install the rear No. 3 floor board.
   

1. Install the rear deck floor box.
   

1. Install the rear No. 2 floor board.
