OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR > INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD)

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) to the separate type front seat cushion cover with 21 new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the cover.



2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the driver side .



3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the driver side .



4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.
    Text in Illustration 
    *1
    		Protruding Part

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

    NOTICE:
    Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

  1. Engage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

  1. Connect each connector.



5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the driver side .



6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the driver side .
