1. CUSTOMIZE SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM

HINT:
The following items can be customized.

NOTICE:
  1. When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  2. Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  3. When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
  4. These buzzers should be ON for safe driving. Perform this procedure only if it is necessary to set the buzzer to OFF (disabled).

  1. Customizing with the intelligent tester

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Combination Meter / Utility / Customize / Warning.

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      		ON/OFF
      Rear Seatbelt Warning Buzzer*
      		ON
      		Function to sound the rear seat belt warning buzzer
      		ON/OFF

      HINT:
      This setting is only valid when the vehicle is driven at 20 km/h (12 mph) or more.
