DESCRIPTION

The leveling actuator (headlight leveling motor) receives the signal from the AFS ECU to operate. The AFS ECU receives signals regarding the operating conditions of the leveling actuator (headlight leveling motor).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE


1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the intelligent tester main switch on.

  1. Select the "ACTIVE TEST" on the intelligent tester.

  1. Check the headlight leveling motor operation with the intelligent tester.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR - AFS ECU)

  1. Disconnect the B12 and B2 headlight assembly connectors.

  1. Disconnect the A28 AFS ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

    Standard resistance:
