Touch Sensor Circuit

Circuit diagnosis

DESCRIPTION

This circuit receives the signal indicating whether or not a touch sensor signal is detected.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE


1. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Following the display on the tester, select "DATA LIST".

    OK:
    "ON" (screen is touched) or "OFF" (screen is not touched) appears on the tester screen.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR)

  1. B112464E06
    Disconnect the P33 ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the oscillator connectors.

Standard resistance:

3. CHECK AND REPLACE ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (CHECK OPERATION OF OSCILLATOR)
  1. Replace the door oscillator.

  1. Check that the entry UNLOCK function operates normally.

    OK:
    Entry UNLOCK function operates normally.

4. INSPECT CERTIFICATION ECU

  1. B112461E03
    Reconnect the ECU and the oscillator connectors.

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection (Symbols)

    SEL1 (P33-5) - Body ground
    Move the key more than 5 m (16.4 ft) away from the front door LH
    10 to 14 V
    SEL1 (P33-5) - Body ground
    Bring it to the outside handle
    Below 1 V
    SEL2 (P33-6) - Body ground
    Move the key more than 5 m (16.4 ft) away from the front door RH
    10 to 14 V
    SEL2 (P33-6) - Body ground
    Bring it to the outside handle
    Below 1 V
    SEN1 (P33-22) - Body ground
    Front door LH outside handle is not held
    10 to 14 V
    SEN1 (P33-22) - Body ground
    Front door LH outside handle is held
    Below 1 V
    SEN2 (P33-23) - Body ground
    Front door RH outside handle is not held
    10 to 14 V
    SEN2 (P33-23) - Body ground
    Front door RH outside handle is held
    Below 1 V
