DISASSEMBLY

Removal / installation


1. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. E120526E01
    Disengage the clamp.

  1. E120527E01
    Disengage the 3 pins and remove the bolt and fog light assembly.


2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Clearance Sonar System)

  1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

  1. E075062
    Remove the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

  1. Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor from the front bumper.


4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Clearance Sonar System)

5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. E119628
    Extend the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.

  1. Remove the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. E119627
    Disconnect the headlight washer hose.

  1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

9. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE

    Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.


10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. Remove the headlight hose.


11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the headlight cleaner hose.


12. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

    Disengage the 13 claws and remove the radiator grille protector.


13. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

  1. B125607
    Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

  1. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the radiator grille moulding.


14. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

  1. B125608
    Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

  1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.


15. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

HINT:
When removing the emblem, heat the vehicle body and emblem using a heat light.

Heating temperature: 
Item

 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Emblem
 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body and emblem excessively.

  1. Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem.

  1. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem.

  1. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

  1. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the moulding to the vehicle body.

    NOTICE:
    1. If reusing the radiator grille emblem, take care not to damage the radiator grille emblem.
    2. Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  1. Remove the radiator grille emblem.

16. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

    Remove the 2 spring nuts.

  1. Disengage the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem.


17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

  1. B125609
    Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.


18. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

  1. B125526
    Disengage the 2 claws and remove the lower front bumper cover.


19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER LH

  1. B125527
    Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper guard cover LH.


20. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER RH

21. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

  1. B125528E01
    Using a cutter or other similar tool, separate the 2 heat-welded portions.

  1. Disengage the 14 claws and remove the lower radiator grille.


22. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER RH

  1. B125529
    Remove the screw.

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front spoiler cover RH.


23. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER LH

  1. B125530
    Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front spoiler cover LH.


24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PROTECTOR

  1. Remove the 2 front bumper protectors.


25. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

  1. Remove the 4 front fender liner retainers.


26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    Remove the front bumper energy absorber.


28. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

  1. B125611
    Disengage the 2 clips and disconnect the radiator support opening cover.

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler (ambient temp sensor) thermistor.

  1. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.


29. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

  1. B125533
    Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the claw and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.


30. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
