REMOVAL

Removal / installation


1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

  1. B125591
    Disengage the 3 claws and disconnect the cover.

  1. B125592
    Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.


3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

  1. B125593
    Using a clip remover, remove the 12 clips and luggage compartment door cover.


4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REINFORCEMENT

  1. B125594
    Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment door reinforcement.


5. REMOVE LUGGAGE KEY ELECTRICAL SWITCH

    Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the nut and luggage key electrical switch.


6. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)

  1. E125310E01
    Disengage the camera connector clamp.

  1. Disconnect the television camera connector.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. E118217E01
    Disengage the 2 claws to remove the television camera assembly as shown in the illustration.


7. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. E120538
    Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and rear light assembly.


8. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

9. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE
  1. Put protective tape around the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

  1. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

  1. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

  1. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the moulding to the vehicle body.

    NOTICE:
    1. If reusing the name plate, take care not to damage the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
    2. Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  1. Remove the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

10. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE
  1. Put protective tape around the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

  1. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

  1. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

  1. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the moulding to the vehicle body.

    NOTICE:
    1. If reusing the door plate, take care not to damage the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
    2. Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  1. Remove the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. B125596
    Remove the 3 nuts.

  1. Disengage the 5 clips and remove the luggage compartment outside door garnish sub-assembly.
