INSPECTION

Inspection


INSPECT RESISTER ILLUMINATION (LH Side)

  1. E119980E06
    Disconnect the connector from the resister.

  1. Measure the voltage of the connector.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    J11-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    J11-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch OFF
    		 Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.

  1. E119983E05
    Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.

  1. Check that the resister illumination comes on.

    OK:
    Comes on

    If the result is not as specified, replace the resister illumination.


INSPECT RESISTER ILLUMINATION (RH Side)

  1. E119980E07
    Disconnect the connector from the resister.

  1. Measure the voltage of the connector.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    J73-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    J73-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch OFF
    		 Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.

  1. E119983E06
    Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.

  1. Check that the resister illumination comes on.

    OK:
    Comes on

    If the result is not as specified, replace the resister illumination.


INSPECT RESISTER ILLUMINATION (Center)

  1. E119980E08
    Disconnect the connector from the resister.

  1. Measure the voltage of the connector.

    Standard voltage:
    LH Side:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    J33-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    J33-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch OFF
    		 Below 1 V
    RH Side:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    J32-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    J32-2 (ILL+) - Body ground
    		 Dimmer switch OFF
    		 Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.

  1. E119983E07
    Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.

  1. Check that the resister illumination comes on.

    OK:
    Comes on

    If the result is not as specified, replace the resister illumination.
