All Doors LOCK/UNLOCK Functions do not Operate Via Master Switch, Driver Side Door Key Cylinder

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU receives switch signals from the multiplex network master switch, and driver side door key cylinder switch signals from the front door lock LH. The main body ECU activates the door lock motor on each door according to these signals.

INSPECT FUSE (DOOR NO. 1, DOOR NO. 2)

(a) Remove the DOOR NO. 1 fuse from the main body ECU.

(b) Remove the DOOR NO. 2 fuse from the engine room No. 1 relay block.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)



(a) Disconnect the 2A, 2B, 2D and E3 ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (OPERATION)

(a) Replace the multiplex network master switch with a normally functioning one DOOR / HATCH: FRONT DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+ .

(b) Check that all doors can be locked and unlocked by using the master switch.

OK:

All doors can be locked and unlocked with master switch.

5.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DOOR KEY LINKED LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the door key linked lock and unlock switches are functioning properly.

(b) Disconnect the I14 door lock connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
