ABS Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction in the vehicle stability control system is detected. This circuit consists of the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) via the CAN communication line.

1.

CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally NETWORKING: CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC U0122 is not output.

OK

2.

CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Code.

(b) Clear the DTCs BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(c) Check for DTCs BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC is not output.

3.

CHECK DTC (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Code.

(b) Clear the DTCs PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(c) Check for DTCs PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC B2060 is not output.
