Rear Door RH Entry Lock Function does not Operate
|
DESCRIPTION
If the passenger side rear door entry lock function does not operate but the entry unlock function operates, the communication line between the vehicle and electrical key transmitter is normal. The part at fault may be an entry lock switch circuit (certification ECU [smart key ECU assembly] → passenger side rear door outside handle [entry lock switch] → passenger side rear door electrical key oscillator).

CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK OPERATION

(a) When the master switch assembly door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.
OK:
Door locks operate normally.

(a) Using the Techstream, read the Data List.

(a) Disconnect the z26 oscillator connector.

(b) Disconnect the z25 handle connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
