  • The wireless door lock control system troubleshooting procedures are based on the premise that the following systems are operating normally. Check these systems first before troubleshooting the wireless door lock control system.

  • Use these procedures to troubleshoot the wireless door lock control system.

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART (2008 LX570) .

(b) Clear the DTCs DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(c) Recheck for DTCs DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) . Based on the DTCs output above, try to force output of the same CAN communication system DTC, LIN communication system DTC or wireless door lock control system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
