INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK THAT DISC IS INSERTED PROPERLY

(a) Check whether or not the disc is inserted upside down.

OK:

Disc is properly inserted.

OK

2.

CHECK DISC

(a) Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked.

OK:

No deformation or cracks on the disc.
OK

3.

DISC CLEANING

(a) If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction.

NOTICE:

Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative.

4.

CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTC NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

RECHECK DTC

(a) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble code is output.

OK:

No DTC is output.

OK

6.

REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK

(a) Replace the disc with a normal one.

(b) Clear the DTCs NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble code is output.

OK:

No DTC is output.
