REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (w/ Cool Box) EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: REMOVAL (2008 LX570)+

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (w/ Cool Box) EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: REMOVAL (2008 LX570)+

3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL (w/ Cool Box) EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: REMOVAL (2008 LX570)+

4. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (w/ Cool Box) HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: REFRIGERANT: REPLACEMENT (2008 LX570)+

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Cool Box)

(a) Remove the front seat assembly LH SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL (2008 LX570) .

6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Cool Box)

(a) Remove the rear console box sub-assembly INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/o Cool Box): REMOVAL (2008 LX570) .

7. REMOVE COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Cool Box)

(a) Remove the cooling box assembly INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Cool Box): REMOVAL (2008 LX570) .

8. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Release the parking brake lever.

(b) Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

(c) Remove the adjusting nut.

(d) Remove the parking brake return spring.

(e) Disconnect the No. 2 parking brake cable and No. 3 parking brake cable from the No. 1 parking brake pull rod.

(f) Remove the No. 1 parking brake pull rod, bush and compression spring from the parking brake lever.

(g) Remove the straight pin from the parking brake lever.

(h) Remove the 4 bolts and parking brake lever.

9. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the screw and parking brake switch.
