INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 5 hooks (A).

(b) Attach the 5 hooks (B) to install the front passenger airbag on the instrument panel.

(c) Install the 2 screws.

(d) Connect the 2 connectors and install the instrument panel wire assembly to the front passenger airbag.

NOTICE:

When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(e) Attach the claw and install the wire.

2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD

(a) Install the instrument panel safety pad INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570) .

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION (2008 LX570) .

4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

5. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: AIRBAG SYSTEM: DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM (2008 LX570) .
